Does the software design patterns knit in the round or only in pieces?

Has the software been tested on a PC running the Windows VISTA operating system?

Is it possible to design & chart you own motifs using SmartPatterns 1.0? How about stitch patterns/cables/lace...? I'd really like to be able to design the entire sweater myself.

Can the patterns be printed? PDF?

Thanks for your time!

I would like the answer to the last question as well. Does the software allow design of garments knitted in the round?

I see you guys have already asked the 2 questions that have concerned me...knit in the round and print out in pdf or any other program?
I must say, this is a great deal if this includes knitting in the round AND easily printable pattern! It will be impossible to pass up.
I just received the email info about this from Lionbrand today, Jan 11, 2008.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Please email me with these answers asap, AND, of course, let everyone know on the blog asap!
Thanks!

After emailing Lionbrand I've found out that this program does not feature knitting sweaters in the round. The suggestion from Lionbrand was to speak with SmartPatterns Inc and to let you know that we would love to have a feature in which you can knit sweaters in the round with this program rather than just in pieces. Thanks!!

I see my knitting in the round question has already been asked! Another question: Does the software allow one to do any shaping at all? Can you enter different bust vs hips measurements?
